Collaborative Cooking
Create a group cooking experience where your guests participate in the creation and preparation of your meal. A group event can create community, strengthen connections, and build teamwork.
“Chopped”
Have you ever planned a meal where there was no apparent plan? Ask your guests to bring a menu ingredient of their choosing that will be incorporated into an evening’s complete meal. Every ingredient needs to be included in the dinner, supplemented by “our pantry and fridge.” Who knows what the evening will provide–but it will be fun in the creating! What would you create from shrimp, parsnips, peanut butter, and kale?
Stone Soup
Like the “Chopped” meal ask your guests to bring an ingredient to go into soup.
We did this for a fund-raiser for 100 people and ended up with 7 soups: borscht, Asian butternut squash coconut curry, gumbo, chicken noodle, minestrone, ham and kale, and lentil. Add some great breads and what more do your need?
